I have been very lucky to be working close to a small woodland with a healthy population of red squirrels during the winter. I have enjoyed countless hours with them, and found that by sitting quietly in a favoured area, they often inquisitively approach before forgetting about, chasing each endlessly amongst the leaves.

Original copy painted by hand, with watercolor technique on special paper for watercolor.
