I travelled to Rudong in China in 2013 with the target of seeing Spoon-billed Sandpipers on their spring migration. We were lucky to encounter several of the globally endangered birds almost daily during the trip.

Original copy painted by hand, with watercolor technique on special paper for watercolor.
