In May 2013 I travelled to Rudong in China and was delighted to encounter several spoon-billed sandpipers. This was painted in late 2015 for a calender put together by the Bangladesh Spoon-billed Sandpiper Project.

Original copy painted by hand, with watercolor technique on special paper for watercolor.
